SPHERICAL PIGS

The PEI spherical pigs are cast in a single piece. The 6” and larger spherical pigs are hollow which allows for liquid inflation through one of two inflation valves. This allows for them to be sized to the pipe ID to prolong the service life and increase performance. Spherical pigs are available in sizes 2” and larger.

MULTI SEAL PIGS

The PEI Multi-Seal pigs come in two configurations. The four Multi-Seal cup configuration (Model 4MS) is for light cleaning, batching or displacement applications. The two Multi-Seal cup and two Scraper cup configuration (Model 2MS2SC) is for those heavier Paraffin/Asphaltines cleaning applications. Either configuration with traverse 1.5D bends. Multi-Seal cups have multiple sealing surfaces which enhance the sealing ability of the cup and also prolongs the wear life of the cup. The Scraper cup is uniquely designed to scrape deposits from the pipeline wall to reduce internal corrosion and increase flow. Both configurations are re-buildable and available in 8” and larger.

TUFF CAST

The PEI Tuff Cast pigs are a single piece molded all-urethane pig, offered in two configurations. The three conical cup version is used for batching, displacement, and light cleaning applications while the two conical cup, two disc version is used for heavier cleaning applications. The Tuff Cast Pigs will traverse 1.5 D bends and reductions up to 20%. They are offered in sizes 4”-24”, economically priced, non-rebuildable, and simply discarded when worn-out.

CONICAL FLEX

The PEI Conical Flex pigs are a metal mandrel style pig that are currently available in four configurations but are easily adaptable to others. The four Flex cup configuration (Model 4CF) is best used for batching or displacement applications. The two Conical Flex cups, two Disc, with spring loaded brush cleaning elements configuration (Model 2CF2D-BR) is used for removing hard internal deposits from the pipe wall. The two Conical Flex cups, two Disc, with spring loaded blades cleaning element configuration (Model 2CF2D-BL) is for removing soft internal deposits from the pipe wall and coated pipe. All configurations are available in 16” and larger sizes and are re-buildable. Conical Flex Pigs will traverse 1.5D bends and reductions up to 20%.

BIDI

The PEI BIDI pigs are equipped with six discs, two being guide discs on either end to ease the loading and to support the body weight, then four seal discs to maintain the seal when traversing the line. The BIDI pigs may be run in either direction, and are most often used in new construction during line fill and dewatering applications. The BIDI pigs will traverse 1.5D bends, reductions up to 20% and are available in sizes 16” and larger.
